Chipped during shipping. Packaging not padded, container was beat up and dusty
The mug itself is good. It's not dishwasher safe and it's not microwaveable, but I'm ok with that. The problem I have with this is that it was chipped during shipping. I managed to more-or-less stick back the chipped bits using super-glue, but this was especially disappointing since I bought this as a gift for somebody. The cup itself comes in a neat little plastic box, but I also had to throw that away before giving it as a gift because the plastic box was full of dust and it was horribly beat up. I'm guessing that either this is a second-hand liquidation product, or it was just beat up during shipping. Who knows, maybe it was already chipped before it was even sent. Either way I was shocked to see that there was absolutely no padding for this, so it's no surprise that it's chipped since the packaging was obviously negligent. Again, the mug itself is fine, but I wouldn't trust this vendor to send me a fragile product safely, so if I did buy this again I would consider looking elsewhere.
