  Let down.

  Don’t get me wrong. I love the cases and the book inside, BUT this was a total let down. I expected a full package with the 4K blu ray and it’s not that. I’m giving this a 1 star because stuff like this shouldn’t happen. How was the Japanese version of the disc perfect but this one isn’t? Doesn’t make any sense. I don’t even know if my order for the replacement disc is accepted because they only send out the automated email. If I don’t get the replacement disc I will never buy from you ever again.

  Dope box set - incomplete

  This was advertised to have a digital copy. That’s a big selling point for me. I haven’t been able to make customer service work for me. Seems conveniently down. But if I get a digital copy - 5stars. Big time. Idk how that oversight could occur.

  I sincerely apologize for your frustration with this release. We have licensed this product from the publisher, Funimation. Funimation has released the following statement regarding the missing digital download codes:

  "*Please note that the Akira 4K Limited Edition release had an error on the back of packaging and onsert. We are aware that the packaging references a digital version of the movie being available, but at this time there is no digital code available for the 4K release of this movie."

  This set is so bold and simplistic. The quality of all the discs with the different resolutions is wild. Audio is top tier imo. Worthy of praise.
