Thirty-six years ago, dense vegetation suddenly engulfed Tokyo, giving rise to deadly parasitic flowers known as "jinka". These monstrous plants contaminate humans through their pollen, feed on them, and eventually bloom, condemning their host. In the heart of Japan's capital turned into a botanical hell, two orphans, Kingo and Kayano, struggle to survive each day. But their everyday life takes a dramatic turn when the Floral Funeral Force, whose mission is to eradicate the jinka, discovers that Kayano is hosting one of these formidable parasites. For Kingo, who vowed to do anything to restore his adoptive sister's humanity, a harrowing battle begins!
