Conan's arch-rival Kaitô Kid announces in a letter to the police that he wants to steal a Russian egg at an exhibition in Osaka that once belonged to Tsar Nicholas II. To prevent this, the organizer asks Kogoro for help. But despite the strict security precautions, the clever thief manages to steal the valuable gem. During his escape, however, he is shot directly in the right eye and disappears without a trace. Shortly afterwards, other people were also killed by a shot in the right eye. The police suspect a killer operating under the code name “Skorpion” is behind the crimes. Conan quickly realizes that there must be a connection and that this case is about much more than just a simple art theft... The third feature film from the extremely successful Detective Conan series by Gosho Aoyama, known for its years of broadcast on RTL II.
