Searching for an explanation for the mark on his forehead, Dai meets Baran, a Dark Army commander who commands the Dragon Legion, in the Kingdom of Teran. This reveals something unbelievable to the little bringer of light: Dai is Baran's lost son Dino and should therefore now dedicate his powers to the Dark King Vearn in the fight against humans. While Dai and his comrades face off against Baran, Baran erases Dai's memories and thus takes away the source of all his strength.
