Description
People are disappearing in Russel City and the “Horrors” are probably responsible. The Makai knight Sword and his comrade-in-arms Luke get the crucial clues to solving the incidents from the stubborn Sophie, who they actually think is far too young for such dangerous missions. Soon, however, not only a shady agent appears in Sophie's orphanage, but also an even more powerful opponent than the usual “horrors”. When the whole of Russel City threatens to descend into chaos, Sophie suffers another serious loss that drives her to the brink of despair...
With a dystopian setting and an interesting combination of characters, Garo – Vanishing Line creates an unusual mix that offers action but also a captivating story with many twists and turns. Thanks to the fights brilliantly staged by Studio MAPPA (Terror in Tokyo, In this Corner of the World), the series also looks great visually.
