Even if you try hard, you won't automatically be successful. This is the opinion of Mio, who has had to endure a number of setbacks in her life. This has turned her into a teenager who no longer sees any reason to put in effort at anything. So she goes through her normal everyday life with her childhood friend Arata and her friend Madoka. When she confesses one day that she is in love with Arata, Mio promises to support her. Emotionally upset, Mio then gets into an argument with Arata. When she wants to apologize to him that evening, she is involved in an accident and wakes up at the "world border", which one enters in order to shed one's memories and enter the afterlife. But Mio isn't ready for that yet, and so she leaves no stone unturned to return to her world - and to Arata... The anime film debut from Yoshinobu Sena, who alone took control of the idea, script and direction. A thoughtful film about life and love that teaches us that something is worth fighting for.
