' The aftermath of the cataclysm caused by by Tetsuo. At the end of the previous volume, an international team of scientists is set up to find a solution to the problem. At the Miyako temple, largely destroyed, the reunion takes place between Kaneda, Kei and the colonel who saved her. Kiyoko. A team is then formed to help with the problem. Choko, unconscious and injured somewhere in town.
