Following a terrible cataclysm, the Earth has been transformed into a gigantic inhospitable desert where water has become the most precious commodity, and where the last bastions of the human race are trying to survive. In this merciless world where the strong crush the weak, lives the mysterious « desert devil”, a mercenary decked out in a poncho, a gas mask, and equipped with a range of gadgets, each one stranger than the last. No one has ever seen his face, and he has a habit of carrying out his missions as quickly as possible, even if it means using the most vile and dishonest means. But it has a weak point, and a significant one: women with generous breasts.

Desert Punk is a delirious mixture of postapocalyptic science fiction and dark humor, the all served by the feverish and energetic style of Masatoshi Usune. The manga was adapted into an animated TV series, available from the publisher Pathé.
