Tamaki Tsuru wants to enjoy her new student life at the university in Tokyo to the fullest, including an exciting love life and everything else that comes with it! However, during a trial training session for the tennis club, she damaged one of the air sports club's gliders due to a small moment of carelessness and was also asked to pay for the damage... That's not at all the glamorous start she had in mind! When she drags herself to the glider airfield, disillusioned, the club captain unexpectedly invites her to a test flight. And so fate guides the inexperienced Tamaki into the endless, blue sky to the wind of bliss - the “Blue Thermal”! Based on a manga by Kana Ozawa, Blue Thermal tells a comic-of-age story about discovering a new passion but also overcoming past conflicts and worries.
