Son Goku is bored and decides to seek out Whis and Master Beerus to train with them. He asks Vegeta to come with him, but he refuses. So Son Goku sets off alone and immediately throws himself into training. He soon remembers that Zen-Oh announced a long time ago that he wanted to hold a major martial arts tournament in which all twelve universes would take part. Without further ado, Son Goku visits Zen-Oh to remind him of this, and he actually announces a tournament between all universes. But the stakes are high: all inferior universes are to be wiped out.
