When the enthusiastic footballer Gregor moves to a new city, he immediately looks for a new team. To his great disappointment, he realizes that the “Kickers” are the worst team around and that is why no one wants to play against them anymore. The Kickers are actually on the verge of dissolution, but the gifted center forward Gregor and the captain Mario manage to re-motivate the other boys. When Gregor has a penalty duel with the captain of the best team, it only depends on him whether the Kickers will be accepted as opponents again... Kickers was broadcast successfully on RTL 2 for years. The series tells the story of a school football team in a funny way and at the same time conveys the importance of friendship, team spirit, fair play and the fun of sport.
