Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny Collection 2 Blu-ray contains episodes 26-50 of the HD TV (Remastered) anime directed by Mitsuo Fukuda and features new audio tracks.

The war between the PLANTs and the Earth Alliance has begun to quickly escalate with the involvement of the Orb Union. Despite being unable to prevent Orb from joining with the Earth Alliance, Cagalli is determined to try and prevent the bloodshed of her countrymen. However, her efforts are thwarted by the rift that has grown between herself and the Orb leadership now led by her fiancé Yuna Roma Seiran. As she cries a desperate plea to the men and women perishing in battle, Kira takes to the skies once again in the Freedom Gundam, to disarm and to disable all who refuse to stop fighting.

Meanwhile, Athrun's loyalties are being tested. While he shares PLANT Chairman Durandal's vision for a future without war, Durandal's actions have given Athrun some cause for doubt.
