To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the broadcast of Samurai Champloo, a special 7-inch BOX of the Samurai Champloo original soundtrack will be released on Record Day 2024 on November 8th!

This 7-inch box set is a 20th anniversary limited edition box set that includes 6 luxurious 7-inch records containing the theme song and songs from the drama, which Nujabes produced, as well as goods. All 6 jacket designs are different, and the goods use original illustrations commemorating the 20th anniversary of the broadcast, making it enjoyable for both music fans and anime fans. This exclusive box set comes complete with a custom 7” slipmat, a 45 adapter, and a collectible sticker.

Nujabes is:

a musician, composer, DJ, and producer. He has been active in a wide range of music since around 1995, based in Shibuya, Tokyo, and in July 1995, he opened the record shop “GUINNESS RECORDS” in Shibuya. In March 1999, he established “Park Avenue Studios” in Jinnan, Shibuya, and headed the independent label Hydeout Productions. After releasing over 30 12-inch singles, he released his long-awaited first album “Metaphorical Music” in 2003. In March 2004, he was appointed as the music director for the Bali Collection of COMME des GARCONS, produced the sound for the anime Samurai Champloo on Fuji TV, and performed at SonarSound Tokyo. In November 2005, he released his second album, Modal Soul. In November 2007, he released his first record collection album in four and a half years since FIRST COLLECTION, 2nd Collection. In 2008, he released a compilation album, Modal Soul Classics By Nujabes, which collected songs that influenced him. Even after his death in a traffic accident in February 2010, his unique sound that transcends genres has created followers worldwide, and in 2018, he was ranked number one in the United States and the most played Japanese artist overseas by Spotify. In 2022, a remake of his song was used at the opening ceremony of the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, which caused a stir. It continues to be highly acclaimed around the world.
