Battery The Animation contains episodes 1-11 of the anime directed by Tomomi Mochizuki.

The talented young pitcher Takumi Harada single-handedly lifted his old school's baseball team out of mediocrity. And now, after moving in with his grandfather in the rural town of Nitta, he plans to do it again.

But rather than the amateur players he was expecting. He meets the jovial yet driven catcher Go Nagakura, who's able to catch his fastballs within moments. With an eye on making it all the way to the legendary Koshien tournament, Takumi and Go join the Nitta Stars baseball team together.

If he's going to win, Takumi needs to remember that playing ball is about fun, teamwork... and having the right Battery!
