Then, tragedy struck when the Getter Team leader and pilot of Getter-1, Ryoma Nagare, killed Dr. Saotome, the pioneer of Getter technology. And not only was Ryoma set up, but Dr. Saotome isn't dead! Returning from the grave, Saotome has revenge on his mind, and has set in motion his plans to destroy the world...and the sudden return of the Invaders seems like no coincidence.
